MedicoSurgical Outreach Mission to the Brong Ahafo Region, Ghana, West Africa. We will be engaging in a surgical mission that is comprised of the disciplines of Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery and Dentistry. The Outreach Teams will consist of four teams of two primary care providers, nurses, dietitians and education directors who will work together in collaborating with the local care providers to address the healthcare needs of the communities.

On Sunday the 13th of November HART will participate in the grand opening of medical clinic that we are building in Ghana this Spring and Summer. It will bring much needed medical care to a distant village community of wonderful individuals . The generous donor of the primary funds to build the clinic is to be honored that day - a community requirement.

Join HART for a fun and competitive dual race between the communities of Utah and the Asunafo South District of Western Ghana designed to benefit the African communities of Sankore and Kukuom, where the sister race will be held. Participants in Utah’s race will be able to tap in real time and see what their Ghanaian counterparts are doing live. That’s exciting!
